classic board and card games...need graphics

Can anyone point me to a library containing:

    1. Regular 52 card deck used in card games like Blackjack, Bridge, etc.

    2. Checker/chess board(s) in different colors. Also checker and chess pieces.

These two are good enough for now. When I downloaded the mf2 demo, I saw a picture of what looked like a blackjack game, so I know these libraries must exist.

Also, are there any examples of very simple card games that I can study? I mostly want to see how they manipulate cards via drag and drop.

    Thanks.

    Hey,
    1. Download lib pack 1 (clickteam website). Then in the tgf2 library, go to Local Library > Games > Lib Pack 1 > Deluxe Card Pack.

    2. With the full version there is a library called "Chess". Otherwise no, unless you got a graphics artist to do it for you.

    Hope this helps!

Card games are anything but simple, as well as chess. Checkers is a little easier, but its still a chore to do. Dragging and dropping cards is really the least of your worries in a game like that. If you need anymore help, I can give you basic pointers on where to start and how to do certain features. I recommend taking a game like this and separating it into simpler, smaller tasks.

Thanks Brandon and Gamemaster! Will download that library if I can do so without the full version. Brandon, I'll get back with you if I have trouble laying out the game.

    To gamemaster:

I did find the card library, but the cards are face down. I thought by making the cards visible they would turn over. How do I get the cards to turn face up.

I thought of a mouse click on the card or a mouse over the area, but found no actions that would turn the card face up.

    Thanks.

John, I think the cards animation needs to be changed to have them face up. See if that helps

    Thanks Ravenius. That's it exactly...change animation/sequence/face up.

Are there any card packs that look like the standard set of playing cards?

    John
