    Naughty Active Pic

    I have an active picture that shows different tabs in properties if I click on it in the frame editor, or in the Workspace Toolbar; namely the resize tab doesn't show up if I click on the object in the WT.

    So when I click on the object in the frame editor, I get the following tabs in the Properties panel:
    Settings, Display options, Size / Position, Movement, Runtime options, Values, Events, About;

    ...but when I click on the same object in the Workspace Toolbar I get:
    Settings, Display options, Movement, Runtime options, Values, Events, About.

    why

    And here's another one... if I save the file that the Active Picture loads from at the start of the frame with a say 4-bit palette, it doesn't show up.

    So in other words, if it uses all 256 colours, it works - if it's reduced to a 16-colour pic (or 8) it doesn't want to load. And just to confirm it - yes, the 16 colour picture itself works perfectly fine in other programs.

    ok nevermind, now I managed to make the runtime crash if I click too much (4 times) on a certain part of the window... Guess I'll just have to avoid using the Active Pic.

    This is not an issue with the ActivePicture object, but with the TGF2/MMF2 graphic filters : they don't support 16-color files.

    About the crash, that's not normal, the Active Picture object is very stable, it doesn't crash. Could you send me your application? (first check you use the latest build, #247)

    Yes, I use the latest build.

    Will post the file in the File Archive part. Is disappearing of the Size / Position tab something already known or is it only on my comp?
