    Multiple instances of app.

    Hi,
I have two technical doubts about MMF2:

    1) It is possible to prevent multiple instances of an app. running at once?
2)Is there known issues of MMF2 applications with two monitors? (dragging the window from one to another?

    Thanks

    1 A couple ways
First I need to check with Yves and see if we are ready to release the instance communicator -- I can't remember right now if its out or not.

The other way is to set a shared value and you can check if it exists when you do a start of frame. If it exists you know another instance is running

2 Dual monitors run fine for me. I have gwerdy chat running all day on my second monitor.

Thanks Jeff! I'll play with this object and see if what happens.
About the dual monitors, I'll make tests here and let you know if I find problems with it.

    Thanks again.

You can get Instance Communicator through Fusion Updater.

Thanks Josh, the Instance Communicator was exactly what I needed!

    Re: Multiple instances of app.

I'm having a problem with Instance Communicator, because it seems to not run in Win2k, WinME and Win98... can anyone confirm this? Maybe ChrisB?

I'm trying an alternative with Shared objects, but without success.
I created a topic in file archive, maybe the solution for this problem may help others in the future.
