How to use animations with the Moo-Click Object?

I have finished Flava's Tutorial and it's working fine now - except I used the Tank animation object thingy from the library and not a smiley face w/o animation.

So now the tank looks like it's going backwards when it goes left and stuff on the screen receiving the positions. The animation won't take into effect. I think this has to do with the custom movement that I made to follow Flava's Tutorial. I'm sorry for such a big question, I'm just getting used to the Moo-Click stuff.

Just add to the events where you move the player. Say "set animation to walking."

That doesn't work. It still has the "Other Player" object is still hopping around. How do I tell it what direction to go in and stuff? More help

To do that, give the player an alterable value called "direction." Always set it to the player's direction. Then test if it changes and then send its value on a new subchannel. Then test for receiving it and set it to "Other Player"'s direction. Make sure to also test for the sender's ID so that only one "Other Player" is affected.

Re: How to use animations with the Moo-Click Objec

Thanks Pinacoladaxb. I figured it out. Now how do I get them to shoot? I know it will have to do with alterable values and stuff, but do I use the Shoot an Object event or do I do something else? And how do I have it so the bullet can't go farther than a certain amount? Here, I'll upload my MMF2 File to my website in a jiff: www.freewebtown.com/rickygaming/Tanks.mfa

Thanks to anyone who can help!
