    Kisguri, thank you for your advice and for your comments, and yes, im doing the game with 247, I have installed 248 in a virtual machine just to build with the java runtime.

    The rules are fair. I just had to rethink the eventing for rule #2:
    [2#- No more than 3 conditions per event (note 2)]
    I had a single event with 9 conditions and 3 -OR's-, and then I splitted the conditions in 2 more events and a group
    But it is ok because the event list looks more readable.

    I don't think making the jump more powerful would help because then the scientist would just bump his head and fall through the center. How about a little less gravity? And maybe, (although I haven't even gotten the screen to scroll or anything so I don't know where the end is...) you could make the road to the top higher?

    Thanks Ricky. I "tweaksd" the character's speed/jump properties a little, and pumped the fps to 50 (it was at 25 fps) and the game run more smoothly now.

    About "the road to the top higher"... do you mean stretching the vertical's window resolution? (to see more ladders on screen at once?)

    um no... I meant (like I said, I haven't gotten that far yet) maybe you could make the game last longer or something. Like if you think its too easy to get to the top, enlarge the frame and make it even higher or something. You might not need to though, I haven't gotten that high yet. I'll give it another go!

    EDIT: Maybe you could make it easier (yeah I know, you think its simple ) by having the player respawn at the last ladder they were at? Just an idea - it might not fit under 2 events or how many you have left. I'd like it if the speed of the character was a tweensy bit higher so I could jump the sluggish thingy without having to be just peeerfect. (I also get annoyed when the character is too slow to get out of the spikes way sometimes but thats just me.)
