    buggy paths...

I am running into an issue where one of my object's path movements is being offset from the object when I try to EDIT it. It seems like it has moved the path to 0,0, but my object is sitting at 690,450. Has anyone seen this and is there a fix?

Most likely, the problem is you moved the hotspot in your object. Make sure it is where you want it.

no no, I have the same problem as he has. When you set an object with path movement. Then you try to edit the movement, the starting point of the path is at 0,0 of the screen. It's by far to me, the most annoying bug MMF has.

Oh, well I guess it's just another bug for Yves to fix. How come I never noticed it? I don't use paths very much.

Yves: would it help to have a copy of the file with the bug?

    Re: buggy paths...

    Here you go:
    path offset bug

I deleted all objects in the scene and then deleted all the events. Some of the objects still seem to be in the object palette, even after restarting MMF2. Not sure if that is another bug to check out. I also noticed the path bug went away if I delete the layers, so maybe it has something to do with layers. Unfortunately, I can't delete the layers in my actual game file.
