Run Problem

Whenever I run the whole application or just the form, it never opens up a new window, as if nothing happens.

Any ideas on how I can fix this? thanks

Is it just one game?, or anything thru mmf?

In any game, even when I start a new one. It is the Run command in MMF2 btw

hmm, i can only image you have your temporary files setup in such a way that mmf can't find the temporary exe.

Attempt to run an app; then go to the file %temp% and look for the most recent folder starting with 'mrt' then run the exe within that folder.... if it runs then you have your temp setup incorrectly.... if there is no such file, then if could be any number of things :cry:

Seele, the temp directory is not created when you run an application from MMF2 and the runtime launched from the editor is located in the Data\Runtime directory, not in a temp directory.

Wooness, is there an anti-virus program on your machine? If so, is it up to date and have you scanned your machine recently? If not, install one and scan your machine.

I am certainly not going to argue... but why are they in my temp, double up?

Do you see an mrt temp directory when you run an empty application? Usually when you run application from the editor there are only mft temp directories, except if you use MIDI files.

Hmm... after checking, it might be also always created with the HWA version. I'll check that.

Well, anyway I think that's not the problem.

Yes I have AVG and it is updated. I already tried to scan my computer, but still no luck. If I reinstall MMF2, will it possibly work? Or any ideas?
