    Plans for Fullscreen?

    I'm not sure if this is like a major issue with the new Hardware Acceleration engine, or if this is just something that's being put off until the engine is released, but are their any plans to have the full screen feature restored?

    Considering Direct3D has native full screen, I can't Imagen it being an obstacle, but I would really like to see my creation in all it's full screened glory. :eek:

    I've said several times this feature is not yet implemented. Of course it will be implemented...

    Advice: When someone install and use a beta version, he MUST read entirely the post where the beta version is available.

    I may be wrong, but from the BrandonC post seems like he was not asking "if" Full screen is going to be implemented, but "when" he can put the hands on it to test.

    Actually, I was asking IF, specifically because when I was testing out HWA, trying to push it as far as I could, I noticed that when I switched resolution on my computer, the game completely lost display. Almost as though there was a glitch, and I wasn't sure if it was something you could fix or not.

    Sorry if I sound impatient, I'm just stuck in a combination of wondering whats going on, and trying to perform the best I can when it comes to digging up bugs to report. Again, sorry Yves.

    I always read the beta posts, I was just asking because it said there was No Fullscreen. It could've easily been interpreted multiple ways, even though I will admit. How I interpreted was sort of an unlikely way and more then less likely, a lack of common sense on my part.

    I would like to make a slight request for whenever full screen is in fact added. Who knows, for all I can say, having this implemented is perhaps the reason why it's being put off for now.

    Anyway, my idea would be customized resolutions, runtime changeable. This means that a game can run at various resolutions, and if need be, have an option to either stretch the game (HWA will avoid lag) add black bars (wide screen support), or just let the game sit centered in the resolution. (Black would appear around it, so I guess this would go along with black bars.

    That's a cool idea, but I remember Yves saying the textures/sprites aren't packed in big 512 or 1024 textures. Every engine I've seen with this ability (to stretch or squash the rendered window), had packed textures. Perhaps this would cause performance issue?
    I bet Yves will say he hasn't tested it yet

    You can't rush something worth doing right, so I'm sure it will be ready when it's ready.
