    Frame Size Limitations

A simple question about the size of frames in MMF2. I am making a game that is compatible with 1080i displays. I don't want to compromise much on the size of the play-fields either, so I've set the virtual frame size to it's apparent maximum (32767x32767).
Before I get into this too deeply, I just wanted to know if anyone could tell me of known issues when using a massive Frame size like this. I can handle most typical memory considerations (keeping image file size low, etc), but if there's any funkiness in the way MMF2 deals with large frames, or large numbers of inactive sprites, etc, I'd love to know ahead of time.

    As always, thanks for reading.

    Re: Frame Size Limitations

Just for info, at runtime the maximum frame size is 2147483647 x 2147483647, this is generally used by applications with unlimited scrolling (with layers set to wrap).

In the editor, the maximum size is 32767 x 32767 due to limitations of the scroll bars and spin controls used in the properties.

so then it will be impossible to add objects to the editor if in the extra bits from the frame size. So basically you can make it 32767 x 32767.

    Re: Frame Size Limitations

Thank you for the answers guys! I'm not using limitless scrolling, so 32767^2 it is. That should be plenty of space, I just wanted to make certain there weren't any bugs before laying out such a massive level.
