How do I turn on HardWare Acceleration?

Is there some way I can turn on HardWare Acceleration for some more powerful games that may give lots of lagg?

For Example: Mode 7 3D RPG, where you can jump n stuff and all the monsties and characters are 3D Meshes. Coz that would be a game that would need it.

Run the HWA version of MMF and/or enable DirectX8 or 9 in Display Mode

also i'm pretty sure mode7 (and possibly even the mesh object) isn't HWA optimized yet so enabling HWA wouldn't help at all

Both the Mode 7 object, and the 3d mesh object are not HWA-enabled.
