    Obviously, the "Load Array from File" action crashes if it's triggered before the fade-in transition has finished. The "Start Of Frame" condition does run before the transition begins. The solution is to replace the "start of frame" condition with "run this event once", which activates after the transition has finished rather than before.

    It's basically an MMF2 bug, but luckily the workaround is easy.

    The reason it crashes is, as Nifflas said, because of the fade in transition. However, you don't have to replace the Start of frame event. Just go into the Arrays RunTime Options and check Create before Frame fade-in transition and it should work.
