Mixed Strings and Numbers (bug?)

Uploading my example file for trouble shooting. I've stripped out most unnecessary elements from this file.

The Problem -
Trying to set the Counter titled "pExp Counter" to display the Alterable Value "Exp" on the object titled "PCollision" results in the error "Mixed Strings and Numbers".
The Alterable Value is a value, not a string. There are other Counters in the scene that are displaying Alterable Values on the same object.

You can find the "pExp Counter" counter in the second-to-last folder in the Event Viewer, and the "PCollision" object is the blue rectangular outline in the scene.

Very strange occurrence. Thanks for the help!
