Suggestion: Disable Selected Row in Event Editor

It would be so great to be able to highlight x number of rows and right click then set "Disabled" within the event list.

This way, when testing/altering/modifying existing list, you could quickly toggle events on and off.

I'd pay money to get that feature!

    Yes, would be neat.
Or well, just a macro function for putting the selected events into a group "Temp X" that is disabled.
Would need less code, since it's just a "macro".

New condition->Special object->always/never->never isn't too hard, but a toggle would be easier.

yeah, I use never at the moment...

if you had "disabled" row's grayed out, they would be easy to find in a list of 40 or so... and hard to miss. sometimes, I can't figure out why something isn't working and after pulling hair, gnashing teeth and displaying certain gestures at the monitor I remember that one other "never" that I forgot.

fortunately, I've gotten much better at organizing my events and using comments, making it a bit smoother

A toggle would be a good idea for debuging so you can isolate the bug and fix it accordingly. Good Idea, how come nobody else thought of it?

Because we already have the "Never" condition, which in effect does the same exact thing. Of course this would be easier, but its not at the top of my list for MMF3.

I certainly understand that things don't often make the top of the list, so accordingly, they really don't "make" the list at all. Sometimes, it's the smallest, simplest things that differentiate the great from the truly fantastic...

But that's the thing, this isn't truly a ground-breaking feature. Its a side thing that would make the user experience slightly more pleasant for bug testing, but it doesn't add to the overall functionality of MMF2.

no, not ground-breaking by any means... one man's slightly more pleasant is another man's gotta have it... thanks for downplaying it.

And is already possible using the 'Never' event so should be WAY near the bottom of things to implement
