Active Picture Ink Effects

Hello,
I am encountering a problem with the active picture object. I am using the create backdrop command, but it doesnt have any of the Ink Effects that are on the APO.I cant see the backdrop created at all if there are effects enabled. Even semitransparency with a coefficient of zero doesnt work. Is there any way to do this, or should I stay away from them altogether

Also, as a suggestion, would it be posssible to allow Ink Effects to be set with an expression? It would save alot of events.

Add backdrop actions add the original, un-edited image so AFAIK rotations, scaling, transparency or ink effects don't apply to the backdrop.

Itd be nice if this could be changed, or another option set that has the effects included. I guess this isnt really a bug, just a lack of features.

Nvm all my problems were solved by fixing a simple problem, my background system box was on a layer above evrything else.
*slaps himself on head*
