Modem Object

We use to have an old modem object and though I have no need to do what we use to do with the modem I would love to be able to write my own voice mail system that will track my caller ID, allow me to answer the phone and talke with someone over the computer, record the calls, record voice messages...

Any hope of getting one of those?

I'm sure a developer would be more than happy to develop one for you for a cost. As for a free one, I'm not so sure if anyone would be that generous. Usually developers only make extensions for free if they need them or they are useful to the whole community, and this extension seems pretty specific to your needs.

I don't have an issue with that. In fact I like that idea. I can get more specific with what I want it to do but who do I go to for that?

This would be where you ask for an extension.

If I am going to pay for a personal extention then I have a ton of things I would like to talk with a developer about.

The bottom line is I have to much on my plate to write these things myself and a ton of technology to get out so if I can use MMF to do it, it's fast, where if I have to write it in a language it will take longer.

Since you suggested a custom extention it made me think that it would be good to have a longterm relationship with a developer who understands MMF and can program in other languages as well.

If you're that person I would love to talk with you on a private level. Anyone who understands MMF and can make objects for MMF could be a great asset to my company.
