    Well it could be any one of 10 possible reasons the code doesn't work, but at least he's getting experience.

    Lots of times to ensure actives are registering an overlapping event, you need to add a timer or fastloop to ensure MMF is looping fast enough to catch every collision.
    Setting the frame rate higher might help also, as would probably many other various things the Complex and Detailed MMF can allow you to control.

    Trial and error is the way to learn though.

    Ok I just tried out Brandon's Idea but still didn't work, I just don't know what to do. This is a serious collision bug that's killing my map generator.

    We've asked for it before, and now we're asking for it again. Post your .MFA! We need to see the source! If you think you have found a bug, Clickteam can not reproduce it without the source. If it's a programming error by you, we can not find it without the source.

    A source example is the difference between a good or bad bug report.

    Try to make your bug reports helpful by posting a file that demonstrates the bug, otherwise neither Clickteam or anyone else can help you.

    That is one problem, it could be a billion others as people have said. We have absolutely no way of knowing unless you post an example. It's like someone saying, "My player isn't moving right." How are we supposed to know what's causing the player to move incorrectly? We aren't, and we can't unless we have an example showing the player moving incorrectly.

    Yeah, we need the source. [laugh]

    If he want's his project to move any farther, people need to examine the file/code.

    It could be as simple as event ordering, or it could be 50 things no one knows...
