    Drawing Arc for cannon aiming????



    I'd like to draw an aiming arc that will be displayed in my game when aiming a cannon.

    This will be used to show the player where his/her cannon ball will land.

    The user will adjust the target location using the mouse (the cross-hairs move with the mouse) and the user will adjust the angle of the cannon using up and down arrow key or mouse wheel.

    no problem on aiming, I just can't figure out how to draw the line showing the arc of the shot from point a to point b.

    can any of you brilliant math and MMF2 wizards lend some guidance?

    i'm thinking i could have an event fire off an invisible active every time the mouse moves and test points along the actual path of the object, then display dots along that path... but I'm hoping there's an easier way... any ideas?
