Is there a way to use the same movement as the 8 directions movement but have you use a s w d instead of the arrow keys without using a custom movement?

In application properties go to Runtime Options and press the button to edit Default Controls. In the dialogue choose the Player 1 Keyboard and then you can change the keys assigned to the different controls.
