MMF2 - Bring in external objects whats best

Currently in MMF2 we can use activex, Lua, and I just saw a .net script object??

I am working on a financial program where I need a better datagrid (spreadsheet) and charting object. I have found several are based on the .net framework and some are activex.

Is it better to use .net or activex???

Is anyone aware of a set of Lua financial functions???

How about just being able to include Excel as a subapp in a frame?

Any ideas from more advanced developers?

I think activeX would be the easier of the 2.

dotNet would be interesting but unless your good at dotNet yourself there will be a learning curve to intergrate it into the extension.
