I just got MMF2 in the mail last week. I download a fangame from a rather legit site, and the game is playing fine, but when I closed it, it never shut down,and I was forced to restart my computer. Ever since that I can't login to this forum (I'm using my brothers comp just to write this) and MMF2 will not open whatsoever, I've uninstalled/reinstalled it about 3 times. EVERYTHING else on my computer is working fine. Has this ever happened to any of you?
Try using Alt-F4, it kills most apps & games, if it didn't close, Ctrl-Alt-Del can be useful too.
You coudn't log into the forums? MMF won't start up? I have one word for you: Virus! Scan for it, quarantine it, kill it.
Yeah I'm pretty sure it's a virus, but I have McAfee and scanned it for 2 hours! Didn't find anything except some spyware..
Spyware is still pretty bad, it doe's not change the fact you should kill it, Spyware is Evil Software.

By Short Definition Spyware is a malicious peice of software that can but is not limited to spieing, downloading viruses, remote controll, keylogging your credit card numbers and passwords, damage to your computer or it's data, no need to hunt it down like a Virus because Spyware cannot replicate.
What you downloaded must of not been a game, it must have been a trojan horse instead.

By Short Definition A Trojan Horse is a malicious peice of software which pretends to be something else, A Trojan Horse can be anything.
Plus, if the virus is on the machine already, it could have disabled your virus-scanner, especially if you have a common one.

What OS are you using?
why dont you post the link to the file you downloaded. Then we can give it one of those online scans and see if that was what you think it was.

If you think you have a virus, sometimes it will create files in your Program Files, that's what it has done to me several times. Then open Program Files so you can see a list of all files and then sort it by last modified and if the newest program is one you didnt download, try deleting it.
most malware, spyware, viruses etc store files in your c:/windows/system32 folder not your program files...
