    Locking / unlocking objects

    Hi,

I am new to MMF2 and I can see how to lock objects but how do you unlock them again?

    Thanks

Just look at the option below the lock for unlocking all objects.

I have never locked an object, I just don't see the purpose of doing so.

if you have two objects that are overlapping, and you access one of them much more than the other

for example, locking backdrop objects (especially large ones) is convenient

another would be locking large text boxes, especially if they're supposed to be above other things, since clicking on the transparent area of a text object will select it and that is not always what you want

I rarely lock objects, since the introduction of MMF layers. Now you can just lock or hide a whole layer (such as the interface panels of a game). Exceptionally useful feature.
