    Hi,

Start of frame I want to detect is Firefox and Adobe Acrobat Reader (or Adobe Reader) installed on users computer. What is the best way to do this detection? (object, file path, registry, maybe activex, etc.?)

    Thanks,

Registry; Always. You can't garuntee it's going to be in the ususal folder but the registry key will not change. Much.
