Crashes with R248

Ever since I updated to Build R248 yesterday my files crash after a minute or two of coding

Machine 1: Windows XP P4 3.0 with 2GB RAM 64MB onboard video
Machine 2: Windows Vista P4 Duel Core 2.1 3GB RAM 400MB Shared
onboard Video

Machine 3: Windows XP P4 2.8 3GB RAM 256 ATI HD2440 Video Card (AGP)

All three machines all MMF2 files are crashing when editing them
files can be as small as 25KB or so far as big as 5MB

Ideas before I try and reinstall MMF2?

The occasional crashing when adding a new condition was in Build 247, this wasn't fixed in 248 but a lot of bugs were fixed.

We need more information about this random crashing.

I don't remember hearing anything about it from build 247 or during the whole build 248 beta so its very odd.

I never experienced this in B247.

Happens when I save the game and/or when I click on a frame

when I click a frame MMF2 just closes

When I save it comes up with error, next error I get I'll post

I do have the save last turned on there is a file "gamename.001"

doesn't happen all the time random times

First do the following.

go into the event viewer for the OS you are on.
Check the diffent logs and look for red x's dealing
the OS or the application at the time of a crash.

Also, this does not sound like a hardware issue if it is
three different machines but run a hardwware memory test.

Also, be sure on all machines to ensure you don't have
malware, spyware, virus, or some driver installed incorrectly.
Go to Microsofts site for Onecare and you can do a test online there for these items

Was updating MMF the only change and then the problems start
or have you updated or changed the machines like adding some
other software?

I've never had a random crash when adding conditions or events in build 247.

You might have a virus. H; your on a network right? sounds like your computers network might be [sick]

Hordolur, hopefully you can find a way to reproduce the crash with a small application. If so, could you zip it and send it to me with instructions to reproduce it? Thanks!
