a small problem with graphics

i just have this minor problem with going up and down slopes, i think just having the angles changed will be unsighly, and im just asking if you all think that is a real problem that needs to be taken care of or is it just fine here is the pic

Its not something that you have to fix, but i think it would look better if you did.

You really need to fix up your graphics, nobody tells me to fix my graphics because nobody expects my graphics to be of any quality but if people expect good grapihcs, give them that.

I have a similar problem with a game I'm making. I've tried to make it less apparent by making the legs appear closer together.



I'm not 100% sure how to go about correcting it. Probably need to use directions or an invisible sprite detecting whether your character is on a slope or not - change graphics to suit.

At risk of turning this thread into something helpful, I noticed that in Apogee's old platformers, they would often use something in the foreground (say, bushes in your forest setting, or a handrail) to disguise the player's legs on slopes, so that there was no need to do an entirely new set of animations for going up and down them. At the moment, he just looks like he's hovering.

Yes they did actually, I remeber them doing this in Duke Nukem 2.
