    Line Rider

Is there a way to make an object move like the character in the game Line Rider?
I'm also wondering if you can make something like a paintbrush.
    Thanks!

Your asking a real tough question there and hardly anybody will be able to answer it.

Dragonguy, wasn't that a really unneccessary post? Just because you don't know the answer to a question doesn't mean no one else does. (You don't need to answer...)

First off, it would possible, but quite hard to do and lots of extra work in TGF2 because its lack of extension support.

There is a physics extension for MMF2 which will make the movement part alot easier. It's called Phizix.

For painting you can use active objects, or if you have MMF2, the overlay redux extension.

Do some searches in the forum, I remember seeing several examples.

I wouldn't recommend making a linerider game if you're new to game developement though.

You can also use the coming extension VectorialShape object which is available in beta stage for MMF2.

    Re: Line Rider

I'd say Phizix + VectorialShape would be the best solution.

    Re: Line Rider

I had a concept for making line rider in TGF1, but never got around to testing it. Probably wouldn't be worth it. :P
