    Close combat

    now i love fighting games and i love sword fighting games. And i would love to make one. but the only way i know how to kill my enemy's is shoot them. so now i want to know how i can kill with a sword. if you know what im talking about please help

    I don't think this is the right forum to ask how to kill someone with a sword.

    Joke aside, you have to build your events up with conditions. You want the enemy to be hit when the player's sword animation is playing AND the player is overlapping the enemy AND the player is facing the enemy. Maybe you want to throw some detectors in also.

    There are several ways to code this, do some tests and you'll find a way that works for your game.
