Why doesn't mmf2 support MFX files?

I am trying to download the wiimote object for mmf2, but it shows a message that says windows cannot opent this file, and says I need a certain program to run it with. It is a MFX file, but I though MMF2 supports that, is it just MMF1 and Games Factory?

You need to put that file in your extensions folder
Then you also have a file for the runtime folder

Just copy the folder structure to your MMF directory

You don't open the MFX with MMF those are the extensions MMF loads.

Putting them in installers is another option - then they don't have to think or doing anything

That is true Although we would need to send all the files to Clickteam every time we want to release a new extension or update an old one...
