I was able to get the date to parse by adding each space to characters to delimit. So, if there were 10 spaces before the date, I had to put 10 spaces in the delimitor.

Using the string parser multiple delimiters will be ignored and passed as one. So the first element would be the string if it was indented with spaces. Although I'm not sure exactly how you parse the string...

Re: For Kimera: The text file

This is where I was headed but I needed to see the code with the dates and this one had no dates in it as we talked about in the other post. Glad to hear you got it worked out.

I just hope that your doing what you say with the data as it would not be good to use MMF for anything that would parse data from any web site if they don't allow that to take place. I have used this product for years and I am already fighting my virus software from deleteing one of my objects every time is scanns. If a popular virus company adds our .dll to their list to prevent things like web parsing it could render anything you write in the future with MMF to junk as each time the users computer is scanned the .dll will be removed as a bad file.

I had this happen with an old version of Home Site b4 Adobe got it. Alliere, the original company, used a third party .dll for compressin in one of the functions within Home Site. Later a spy-ware author used the very same .dll to do their thing and the virus programs trashed Home Site to the point that I had to call Adobe, fight with them about the fact that the file was thiers, and after hours of fighting and having to prove to an hrly employee that they needed to stop reading the screens and use the brain they were born with they sent me a brand new copy that does not have the .dll in it, nor does it have that old function.

It would not suprise me if CT could pull information from an exe to find out who made it so if you made anything at all that goes against the licensing agreement they could most likely pin it down. I have no facts about CT doing this and I am not saying they are but I have been programming enough to know that it can be done and in the US I can put you in federal prison for doing it with software I put out. Just something to think about!

    Take care,
    K
