    Water Paddle Tennis

This is a multiplayer game I made using my 8-Directions 3D movement (thanks to the example game "Magician").

Use the arrow keys to move one paddle and WASD to move the other.

Very nice, you should resize the ball as it jumps up and down to give a better depth-effect to it :-)

I am also making a game called Hazard Cove using this movement. The game is much more advanced, and I will release it when finished.

    How would I achieve this?

    Jaffob:
Simply set the scale of the ball to something based on the distance to it's shadow. The further away from the shadow it is you could scale it bigger. Just limit the scaling to something between 0.7 to 1.0 or something. Even a slight effect is often enough to give much nice results

    Re: Water Paddle Tennis

I tried it, I used this:

    +Always
    - Set Scale to Max(((Sqr(((X( "Ball" )-X( "Shadow" )) pow 2)+(Y( "Ball" )-Y( "Shadow" )) pow 2))/100), 1)

You should be able to just copy that into the expression editor to make it work, that's how I got it out.
I think it gives the desired effect pretty well, but you might have to change it around a bit to get it how you want.
