    Re: Change resolution in Vista

Well, are you sure when you built your .exe that you had the "change screen resoluton" checked??? Also what is the resolution you used for building the app. What is the resolution of the screen of the Vista machine you are placing it on? Also, will the graphics card on the problem Vista machine support the resolution you are try to change to?

Also, have you updated the problem system with the lastest Vista video drivers? Try that and rerun your test.

Try also turning off any screen saver you are running.

One other option might be that you have a video card going bad. It is only displaying certain resolutions.

I mean we know it is not an admin problem.
We know it is not a virus problem.
    We are checking the build.
So we are down to a graphics card or Vista driver issue on this machine.
If you go the the graphic cards website you should be able to download new bios for updating the video card and new Vista drivers.

    Re: Change resolution in Vista

I just want to add that I too have been having problems with MMF2 games when I run them in full screen on my Vista pc. The games get all blury. They used to run fine on my old XP pc. Not the same thing, but maybe thay are related. I hope this is addressed eventually.
