    How do I use MOOGame?

Ok I have done the MOOClick tutorial on creating a simple chat program.

I had a look at MOOGame and was as confused as I was when I first looked at MOOClick.

What I want to do to is this.

Make a 1-4 Player Game where one player (the host) creates a game, selects a level, selects difficulty, gives it a game name, 0-3 people must then see that game on a list and then join it and they chat for a bit and then the host clicks start and they must reach the exit and shoot bad guys with all kinds of weapons to get there and while in game they can also chat.

    Why not just use MooClick?

Once you know the basics of channels, sub channels and how to send and recieve messages thats everything.

Now you just need to develop your events to make the correct things happen when the messages arrive.

We can't make your game for you Learn how to use the basics of MooClick with a chat tutorial, and then work up from there.

The group draw part of the chat tutorial does demostrate how to move objects and transfer "data".

    But deep down
Chat text and object data is all the same -- It just depends on what you do with it when it arrives in the message.

    I.E.
Chat text -- Display the text in the chat room
Data -- do something to an object (move it, destory it ect)

Re: How do I use MOOGame?

I didn't know it was in there along with globwars, smelly claw, weather effects, fastloop platform & dialog tutorial. Some body just gave me a link to it a while ago and I clicked it. (Oh and I just noticed the exampls games still aren't there yet)

I'll look through the mooclick tutorials later and see if I can create a network pictionary-type game.
