It might have a license you have to distribute with your application, though.

The flag you specificially should be looking at is
--continue-at <offset>
where you should enter at what offset you have downloaded to already (the existing file size).
It has alot of other flags you can play with.

What about creating a system tray app that your main program sends a command to. For example, to download a file. Of course, what type of file, text or binary?? Track number of bytes received and resume if not complete.

Once download is done app sends message back to your main program to load it from the hard drive?

Just an idea. What type of download? Via the web or could a moosock app be running on the file server?
