Worth buying Developer edition?

I don't have MMF2 Standard, only tried it, of course it would be a bit stupid to buy Developer if I had Standard, except if I got some kind of an discount. And as I said earlier: I'm that kind of guy who just wants the best of the best, can't live with the second best.

I'm not convinced into upgrading from MMF2 Standard to MMF2 Developer, however I will get MMF3 Developer when it comes out.

If TGF1 & MMF1 were released on 1996 and TGF2 & MMF2 were released on 2006, then isn't MMF3 & TGF3 going to be released on 2016? Just a guess, but seeing as Iv'e lost my regristration number for MMF2 Standard so I can't get a discount, I ain't gonna get developer.

It is worth noting, in reply to some comments above, that MMF3 has no specific timeline right now.

So, yes, it may be a while, but how long depends on many issues. "A long time" is really not a certainty at this stage.
