COM+ Object

I downloaded and installed on Vista Ultimate. I have loaded and ran several of the example apps with no problems. I did notice that the example apps would not load the first time I double clicked to run them. But the second time they loaded up fine.

I'm using Vista Ultimate Service Pack 1 and MMF2 Developer version 248.

I also run Microsoft Onecare so if the app is new this can cause unexpected problems.

Last of all, I have UAC control is on.

I agree. Could you please remove the Released Extension topic about it entirely? I'm trying to figure out what's wrong and I have 6 PCs with Windows 98 SE, Windows XP SP2 and Windows Vista Started running just fine with the extension.

I'll investigate further and eventually I'll make it work if I can.

I'm using this extension already in a large project and as I tested it in different OS's I released it as final before beta testing.

I'll post a beta for everyone to download until this problem is resolved. Sorry for any inconvenience.

I've just started using the com object with Windows 7 and none or very few of the examples work. Is this just a security issue or a change in API/WMI.
