    Fading screens

Im searching for a way to make a screen fade in, then after a few seconds fade out and switch to the next screen. Any tips?

You can either use the in-built transitions for each frame. One of these is a fade.

Alternatively you can have a large Active object of a plain colour which fades in, then fades out.

In the storyboard editor, there are two 'transition' icons for each frame. It's like a faded square with an arrow. One is 'fade-in', the other is 'fade-out'.
Click one of these, select an effect (e.g. Fade) and choose a duration.

Same as fade-in, click on the frame, go to properties and select fade out as the transition effect.

Also make sure you actually told it to fade out (with something like player clicks LMB -> jump to next frame), otherwise it won't fade out by itself.
