    Tile Widget

Tile Widget is a fairly complex widget which acts a tile-based level editor and loader.
Full instructions are included in the behaviour of the widget - be sure to read them.

You can resize the tiles to any size you like, and change the grid dimensions. Also, tiles can be normal, obstacles, platfroms, or ladders.

This is a test version - check back for improved versions over the next week or so. Also check out version 2 of my "Bullet Widget" if you haven't already.

I guess it's an entry for the comp?

I've had a little play around with this and it is great! Amazing that all this is done with 1 widget

    Re: Tile Widget

This is nice, im a newbie when it comes to MMF2 and im just wondering with rpg games how would i make it just play the level rather than loading the editor, i would like to be able to use something like this in a similar way to RPG maker in that i draw a level and then can use it for a game without the editor there when i build it.

Also is there plans to expand on this idea? say click selection of a tile to use to paint with and export to image etc? that would be great and a very useful tool for RPG making in MMF2, Thanks

Atom, just add another frame and copy and paste the loading code. Add your player.
