    Audio Editor?

Hi once again, i haven't used MMF in a while but am a owner, it is a great program but i never really got deep into it before and had to reboot windows but i will be using it again now hopefully.

So yeah last time i was around i asked about RPGs because i want to make one of those sometime too so some of you might remember me maybe

So im wondering is it possible to make apps like wav editors now with MMF2? basically it needs to be able to import and export .wav change pitch of selected parts and volume and maybe add effects, at least thats where i would like to get to with the project if it is possible. Any help or advice about doing this?

Also last time i made things it was in the setup thing but im wondering if you make a certain function is it possible to group and save/store it somehow and then load it whenever the user triggers the event? Many thanks

    Re: Audio Editor?

Thanks for replying, for some reason after typing in audio editor setting it to all forums and older than 1 year i get -

There are no results for your query. Please try a broader range of search criteria.

Edit - Same with just Audio and RPG and setting it to more than 1 year etc

    Re: Audio Editor?

Make it older than 5 years; you should get something...

Also, you can check on TDC for some info.

    Re: Audio Editor?

Ahh ok i seem to have figured it out now, seems a bit odd though imo, you set the 'Newer than' input to 5 years instead of Older than otherwise it doesnt seem to work, the way i think it would work when i read that is older than means all past posts and newer than means recent posts. Forum although it works fine seems a bit old style compared to some of the others i use so maybe it's just that im not used to that way of doing it but at least i know how to use the search now

Still though i didn't really find much help with what im after, entering "audio editor" gets

    Topic - Music creating software?

Can you create a audio convertor app?

But they don't really give any help and sort of suggest MMF2 cannot make things like that, What i want to make is something along the lines of Audacity (but basic) and just add things to it over time.

Is it possible to apply a few basic effects to audio in MMF2 like adjusting the pitch and pan etc? And to do things like select a audio channel to input and record it to a sample say a microphone etc.

If anyone else is interested in doing similar things this looks like it could be helpful with audio -

    Onu Audio Object Extensions

The Onu Audio Object is a set of extensions for Multimedia Fusion 2 by Clickteam that allows for advanced playback of music files, and (soon) includes an SDK for developers to extend the functionality and possible import formats.
