how to save game progress

What event or action would I assign to a button to allow the player to save his/her progress in my game so that they can return to their game with the same stats and in same place with everything they had before?

Hey, if you have the latest build, you could use the simplest way:
Storyboard control (that icon with the chess stuff) -> Frame position -> Save/Load
