    Random animation frame, still plays?

    Ok, so I have a small level built up of blocks - active objects with one simple looping animation (on Stopped, default direction, nothing weird going on). The player can also drop blocks onto the level too. Of course, this means the dropped blocks are out of sync with each other and the blocks that were there at the start of the frame. THAT'S NOT A PROBLEM, the dropped blocks look kinda cool when they're all out of sync. What I want to do, is randomise the frame at the start of the level for the blocks already there (so all blocks are out of sync). I've already achieved this with:

    Start Of Frame:
    Force animation frame to random(6)

    But, the animation frame sticks. It randomly selects one, which is good, but then fails to continue playing the animation. Even if I put in a "Start Animation" after it (either in the same condition or it's own), it's still stuck on the randomly selected frame

    Sooo, how do I get it to continue playing after the random selection? Cheers in advance

    Try restore animation frame.

    Nope, that just seems to completely ignore the random action

    It works n_n

    Thanks! I missed the "Start animation" line. That's odd... "Force random frame" and "Restore Frame" together makes the animation not randomise. With Start Animation, it randomises it =/

    Oh well, soblem prolved anyway ^^
