Difference between the NVO and AssArray?

What is the difference between the Named Variable Object and the AssArray Object? As far as I can tell, they both store data in slots named by strings.

I think the AssArray have more features.

However, I really recommend Ini++ to be used instead of those. It have even more and better features, groups, more saving/loading options, encryption and compression. Ini++ is also great as an associative array even if you're not loading/saving any files with it.
