Problems getting compiled game to run (solved)

Hello there, kind Clickteam folks, I searched the manual and forums for this but was unable to find any help.

I've been trying to compile my short prototype of a game into .exe form, but I am having some problems. When I build the .exe file, and then click it, nothing at all happens. I've tried building it as an install as well, and installing it, but the game still does not run. I have tried a computer reboot and also running the executable on a different machine (Without mmf2, but I doubt that'd make a difference) and still the exact same problem. Strange considering the game runs perfectly happily within the Multimedia Fusion editor itself.

Considering that I managed to compile and run the last few builds of the game just fine, I'm quite muddled here as to what could be the problem. As far as I recall, the only things that have changed between the last build and this one was that I started using the custom platform movement from Bonus Pack 1 instead of the standard platform movement(I had no third party extensions prior to this) and that I game the .exe file a custom set of icons.

I have uploaded a file in case some strange arcane thing has been done by me accidentally

Hopefully it's merely me being a dunce and you can point me on my merry way with some advice

Um, you wouldn't happen to have the demo, would you?

If not, I don't know. I can build it perfectly on my machine...

That's the second time somebody has asked me if I had the demo

Nope, definitely the full product . I wonder why it won't build?

Maybe you had the demo, then you installed the full version over it?

This was the case. I checked add/remove programs and the demo was installed still. Uninstalled this (which uninstalled the full version too), reinstalled the full version and it works like a charm.

    Big thanks, GabSt!

Very strange... I hadn't heard of that happening before, but thanks for posting the method that worked for you.
