Moving platforms with platform movement extension.

So I am using the platform movement extension for the moving platform, and my character. The only problem I'm having is getting my character to move with the platform when standing on it. Normally this isn't a problem, but I haven't used the platform movement extension for this yet. I used to just do:

When player is standing on moving platform: Set X of player to player+1 or -1 (depending on direction)

However, that doesn't work this time around. Also the platform has acc. and decel. so using the above event wouldn't look too smooth :P

I've also tried setting the players movement values to the settings of the platform, and then having player move left or right with it, but then the players engine goes into account; animations start screwing up, and you can't walk around on the platform, ect. It works but isn't good enough. Anyways thanks for any help.

What, have none of you used the Platform movement extension?? Geez...

Isn't there a moving platform in the example file for it?
Under your MMF folder then examples then Platform Movement

Yeah, but that just shows how to make a platform move..not how to have the player interact with it.
