    Help, starting to feel stupid

OK, I am new to this. I have just been learning how to use MMF at the office. I have been playing with the Klick 3D widget and cant figure out how to make the cam move faster. I know how to do it without the 3D stuff. Under Movements you can set speed. I tried that in the 3D and the player moves off the screen when I stop moving in 3D. The 3D image never changes and when I start moving again the player comes right back where I was but I never go any faster on the screen or in 3D. Can someone be a gem and provide a sample of how I could, using a button like shift, to increase the speed the cam moves through the environment without increasing the FPS.

    PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE?

I am running out of time today.

    Thanks,
    Nae

    Hi NaeNae,
Being new to MMF .. of course you picked an advanced custom type of project to do

I saw someone posted here about that http://www.clickteam.com/epicenter/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=109261&gonew=1# UNREAD

    Did you check that out?

Now I haven't looked at a widget but a widget is just some event programming in MMF -- a big like an extension object but just using events.

So in theory -- inside that code someplace is the events that handle the movement and you would need to modify those.

I am just taking a guess --- I haven't looked at the event code for that widget.

MMF is only designed to be a 2D tool ... people have been doing what they can to get some 3D'ish features in it but its still only a 2D tool.

So you may or may not be able to do what you want.
