How to make a ghost object

I just found something interesting - a way of making an undeletable object visible on screen but it doesn't appear in the Event editor. Here I'm using subapp, but I guess it'd work with other objects too.

Also this is so basic that it must have been reported already but I didn't manage to find anything so here goes just for the record.

    0. I assume you have the "Arrange / Show created" turned off, since no matter how many times I turn it on it doesn't want to save it as default (window positions and other settings like grid do get saved though). Can this be fixed, while we're at it?
    1. create a subapp, settings don't really matter (in the subapp frame I had "end application when user clicks LMB" just for the purpose of testing)
    2. in Event editor, put something like "user clicks with a mouse: create subapp (somewhere)" (the same subapp that was created in the previous step)
    3. in frame editor, click on the subapp, and uncheck "Create at start".
    4. Delete the subapp.
    5. Turn "Arrange / Show created: on" (the subapp will reappear)
    6. Go to Event Editor, delete the action you created in step 2 (the subapp will disappear from the Event editor)
    7. Go back to Frame editor, the subapp will still be there and you won't be able to delete it nor access it through the Event Editor.

... and it gets even more interesting if the zombie-subapp gets cloned say 3*3, and then if the first subapp gets deleted (so it suddenly became deleteable) the first three subapps will disappear... and after deleting all the subapps and closing the project TGF crashes. As Wario would say... "Oh boy".

I think this is what they call a 'Bad Object' it is a mysterious bug but not as bad as the random crash bug but at least that one was fixed.
