    Moosock very buggy

    hi there,

after I have tried to use some conditions I have found many bugs which I want to list here.

1.) "IS CONNECTED" AND "ON CONNECT" - conditions didnīt work. Although a connection was established, I didnīt got the message I wanted to.

2.) After creating "RecvLine$( "MooSock" )" and starting the app itīs extremely slow which isnīt normal. I think it has something to do with the condition.

3.) Action "Receive Binary to Create" doesnīt work.

Why is moosock so buggy? Who is actually the developer? I hope that will fix them.

Or do you recommend changing to "OINC"? Does OINC can do the same things? I think not quite. : /

    Cheers...

Moosock is a bit tricky to use but it does work.

I have used it quite a bit.
Servers are also EXTREMELY picky and you must structure your headers exactly or they may reject your connection.

If you just want to receive text from a server I would point you to live receiver its easy to use.

Without seeing your events its really impossible to say what you can do to make MOOsock work for you.

No I also want to send and receive picture files.

Years ago I had one tutorial about the whole issue, but I donīt know where to get it again.

Does anyone know where I could find some?

It could be, I donīt quite remember, but nevertheless thank you for the example.

I tested the file without changing anything, and I have noticed that this also doesnīt really work. Maybe you could also test it so I can be sure? : /

Like I said, Moosock seems to be buggy... : /

    Re: Moosock very buggy

The main problem I have with it is the headers, but I have never wanted to do any file transferring with it.

As far as sending and receiving info to a webserver it works but I prefer to use Live Receiver now for doing that.
