    In the event editor:

    Conditon: Start of frame
Action: Play and loop sample (your_sample.wav)

You find the sample actions in the second column from the left in the event editor.

For sound effects, do the same, but not select to loop it

For music, you better convert the sample to .ogg format to reduce the filesize drastically. Most free soundeditors (like Goldwave and Audacity) can do this.

    TGF2 doesn't support .ogg.

Ah, ok. Is the direct show object in TGF2? In that case you could convert it to mp3 instead.

    thanks guys, its working.

Is there any way to make the music play over certain frames? for example, all of the menu screens.

    thanks

Yes, there should be an option "Play samples over frames" in your application properties (click on the game name in the workspace toolbar).
