    Standard to HWA Problem

Ok I'm having an awful problem. I originally built my application in MMF2 Standard.(Hwa wasn't around then), but now I want to port it over to HWA for the speed boost.

I copy my .mfa in the HWA beta.exe, and switch to it to Direct3D 9. However, when I run the application, a ton of my backdrops start to get replaced with random objects from other frames.

So then I figured that I have to of made the application in HWA for this to not happen. I create a new application in HWA, Copy all the frames from the standard display version, and paste them into the direct3d 9 one. I run the application, but some of the backdrops become replaced once again. They aren't even sent to "global" either.

Anyone had this problem before or has it been a known issue?

    Re: Standard to HWA Problem

Ok now I'm noticing something odd to narrow the problem. I have around 40 frames.

Everything up until the 18th frame works fine(as in, it doesn't replace graphics/objects), but everything I paste from the standard display version after frame 18 starts get replaced.

Also to make things more clear, here's an example of what I mean by "replaced graphic".

On Frame 1 I have a green object.
On Frame 19 I have a black quick backdrop.
When I set the display to Direct3D 9, the black quick backdrop is replaced with the green object from Frame 1 during runtime only..

    Hope that helps.

    Re: Standard to HWA Problem

Just for info this issue happens in games that contain more than 4096 images. Due to a bug a bit is set to 0 in the image number of backdrop objects. This bug is fixed in the next update.

Still no release date for the next update though, sorry, there are still important issues. But it's progressing.

Care to make a list of things you've implemented and things you want to implement in the future?

PS: the bug that has been fixed above only happens in Direct3D mode in the current version of MMF2 HWA.
