    Thanks for all input from everyone. still dont know whats causing this. It seems there is only slowdown when scrolling the camera view. I ll try some of the suggestions. no worries.

    You could also simply try re-installing it. I keep hearing from a lot of people that installing Windows Vista has been a hit and miss process. If you hit it correctly, then it will run perfectly, but if you miss then it'll be very in stable and slow. Not sure what's involved in the process of installing it, but whatever it is, it seems random.

    I would imagine that is mostly people trying to upgrade XP to Vista. It's just better to format the partition and do a clean install.
