    Re: Clickteam web/database server

Server side scripting languages already exist and many of them are elegant solutions, why re-invent the wheel?

There are so many time on the forum people are trying to get to a webserver or create a online game and have moosock or oinc issues, remote database issues etc...
If it's their first time setting up and developing that type of functionality, they will run into issues. It's the nature of the beast, you have to tame it.

Finally, I think a "one click" solution in MMF may have too much overhead than expected. What you're talking about is already possible... there just isn't a drag and drop solution. Why? Because all games/apps have different behaviors, so a one stop solution would be hard to massage into every situation.

OINC has the functionality to host a web server built in.

True. Doesn't have his other requirements though: webdav, database and scripting language.

If you think this is a silly idea then check out Runtime Revolution. They don't seem to think the ideas are so silly.

I know someone will say "Well, why not just use their product." I am a fan of MMF2 but would like to see some of the about idea included.

If I am honest, CT are just way to busy to create something like this. Sorry.

JasonDarby, I'm just suggesting that as part of future planning this be considered. I believe it will place MMF into a stronger position.

By the way I have purchased both of your books here in Fort Wayne, Indiana USA. Good job and thanks for your effort in this regard.

I am sure we can add it to the wish list, but just so you know (you might already)...we have over 2000 requests for features that people want

Yay glad to hear the books are about

Maybe just use the Gwerdy Chate Server but on custom channels?
Working as fast as I can on Fusion 3
