    Lovely stuff, seems as tho google is infact my friend. Nice one jesse. I do have another issue however

    as far as im aware, when playing a sample (in my new OGG form), it won't proceed to continue the song over the next frame which is something id like to have in my games (rather than a constant stop-start thing). anyway round that??

    It's better if you convert it to a wav. I don't know if you can compress mp3s, but use the direct show if you still want to use the raw file.
